Ten years ago, Will Butler celebrated the release of his solo debut album Policy with the Brantley Gutierrez-directed video for “Anna.” Today, the Emma Stone-starring clip is reimagined as “ANNA (MonoChrome),” which recasts the video, with its Queen Mary setting and Ryan Heffington choreography, as a lost showstopper from the golden age of Hollywood musicals.

It’s been a busy year for the Tony-nominated Butler, with Stereophonic currently touring the United States and enjoying a run in London’s Duke of York’s Theatre through November 22. He and his band, Will Butler + Sister Squares, will round out the year with a two night residency at Joe’s Pub in New York City this weekend. Tickets are on sale now.
