Imperial Teen emerged from San Francisco at the height of alternative rock's mid- to late-'90s golden age. Roddy Bottum, Lynn Truell, Jone Stebbins and Will Schwartz somehow grow both younger and wiser over the years. So many bands lose momentum and focus over time, but Imperial Teen connects four characterful lives through creative friendship and deep trust, and forges a communal power that continues to grow stronger.
