In the wake of the triumphant Reason in Decline, Archers of Loaf are hitting the road, beginning November 29 at Baltimore's Ottobar. Today, the band is happy to announce that they're coming home to celebrate, with a March 24 date at Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, NC, followed by a March 25 show at Terminal West, in Atlanta, GA. Tickets for both shows go on sale this Friday.

Reason In Decline, Archers of Loaf's fifth studio album, has quickly become a favorite of fans and critics alike. Not content to ride the goodwill and nostalgia for their 1990s output, Archers of Loaf’s return pushes the group into entirely new sonic territory, the twin guitar attack of Eric Bachmann and Eric Johnson entwining with Bachmann’s emotionally matured lyrics to create an album of startling, clear-eyed immediacy. Listen to and share Reason in Decline today!

Praise for Reason in Decline:

“On Reason in Decline, their first album in 24 years, the singer-guitarist Eric Bachmann reclaims the band’s lovably ornery spirit, working in the hard truths of middle age.” —The New York Times

“the North Carolina rockers sound furious about, well, everything, as they well should! Over ear-splitting distortion and explosive drums, Eric Bachmann’s sandpaper vocals sound ready to tear it all down.” —Stereogum

"[A] compelling testament to the way the old you and the new you can make one helluva tandem." —Pitchfork
