As a nod to the special confluence of Julian Koster of The Music Tapes and the Night Vale Presents network—a collaboration that resulted in the wildly popular podcast The Orbiting Human Circus (of the Air)—the two have launched The 2nd Imaginary Symphony.

Written and produced by Koster during the recording of the Music Tapes’ sophomore album Music Tapes for Clouds and Tornadoes, The 2nd Imaginary Symphony struggled to find a home…until now! It will be released as a four-part podcast (listen to episode 1 now), with a newly written and recorded Orbiting Human Circus frame story to accompany it, followed by its release as a continuous whole in episode 5.
