Michael Benjamin Lerner is on the road with the Telekinesis band on his first tour since February’s release of Effluxion, and today he’s sharing his third collaboration with director Kayhl Cooper, this time for the album’s opening title track. Read more on Brooklyn Vegan, and watch it below:

The poignant visual completes a trifecta of sorts between Lerner and Cooper, beginning with the “Cut the Quick” music video starring Lerner himself, followed by “A Place in the Sun” where Cooper filmed two dozen people reacting to hearing the song for the first time.

Listen to Effluxion in full now, an album the A.V. Club calls “a wickedly catchy, achingly gorgeous album that evinces a deluge of raw and unfettered human feelings.” Pick up your copy on CD, LP, and mint green Peak Vinyl in the Merge store, where all orders come with a free Telekinesis magnet while supplies last, or at the merch table at the shows listed below!
