Sneaks’ Eva Moolchan has one more video in her back pocket from last year’s It’s a Myth, and she’s sharing it with us all before her June tour dates! “PBNJ” was directed by Emmett Kerr-Perkinson and features multiple Moolchans bounding through the streets of Baltimore, as well as a very crucial air bass shot.

Kerr-Perkinson had this to say about the speedy shoot:

I found Sneaks through a show at Brooklyn’s Alphaville and loved her sound; I approached her wanting to shoot a video and she suggested “PBNJ.” The driving bass line inspired the handheld footage of her running through the street. Myself and my producer Robert Ravenscroft took an early bus to Baltimore, shot for eight hours, crashed hard, and bused back to NYC the next morning.

Next week, Sneaks hits the road for a run of shows including stops at North by Northeast, Ottawa Explosion, New Jersey opening for Superchunk, and more. Sneaks will also make an appearance at Hopscotch Music Festival in North Carolina before heading to Berlin for Red Bull Music Academy. A full list of dates can be found below; don’t miss this live show!

Rolling Stone included It’s a Myth in its list of great albums that flew under the radar in 2017, saying, “post-punker Eva Moolchan dresses down her own songs and lets her bass and synthesizers do the talking, while her voice, charmingly disaffected, floats along for the ride.” Pick it up on LP and CD in the Merge store, and listen now digitally.
