Look to the East, Look to the West, the highly anticipated album from legendary Scottish indie-pop band Camera Obscura, has arrived. Their first new album in over ten years, Look to the East, Look to the West is more than the return of a beloved band; it is Camera Obscura at their best and most evocative, as evidenced by songs like “The Light Nights,” a swooning song that occupies the space between a great honky tonk joint’s jukebox and a lost gem of California pop.

Listen to Look to the East, Look to the West wherever you stream music, and grab a copy on CD, LP, or limited edition baby blue & galaxy Peak Vinyl in the Merge store! Looking to fall even harder for Camera Obscura’s spell? UK fans ordering Look to the East, Look to the West from Monorail Music will receive an exclusive mix CD compiled by Camera Obscura; LP orders include a signed art print! Our friends at Rough Trade UK & NYC have it on exclusive opaque violet vinyl, which includes a bonus CD featuring five demos! And in the US, Barnes & Noble is offering an exclusive clear and green swirl vinyl edition!
