Superchunk returns from their 2025 US tour with covers of The Magnetic Fields' “I Don't Want to Get Over You," and Look Blue Go Purple's “I Don't Want You Anyway," featuring cover art by Glen Baldridge.

In addition to a limited number of the tour-exclusive 7-inch being available to purchase, “I Don't Want to Get Over You” is now available digitally, and wherever you stream music.

No strangers to the allure of Stephin Merritt's songbook, Superchunk's take on “I Don't Want to Get Over You” recasts The Magnetic Fields' depressive epic as a manic, guitar-forward ripper, making Merritt's lyrics writhe in an entirely new kind of agony.
