The second in a series of Clambakes from Superchunk, this one is somewhat cumbersomely entitled Music for Kinugasa's A Page of Madness. It's a live recording of the one and only performance of music written to accompany this great Japanese silent film. Commissioned by the San Francisco International Film Festival to compose the score, the band wrote the music in early 2002 and performed it during a festival screening of the film at the Castro Theater in SF on April 23, 2002.
