Wye Oak have been on the roads of Europe since the release of April’s The Louder I Call, The Faster It Runs, an album the New York Times says is “the sound of a band simultaneously delving deeper into its music and opening it up.” Tonight, they launch their North American tour, and tomorrow, their set from Carrboro, NC, will be streamed live from the Wye Oak Facebook page beginning at 9:15pm ET.

To celebrate the kickoff of this leg of the tour, Wye Oak are debuting a new music video for “It Was Not Natural,” directed by Dan Huiting. Jenn Wasner from the band: “This song is about pulling the threads that hold the fabric of our world together. In our new video we have created a visual representation of a truth discovered in this process—that sometimes it is the most mundane things that are strangest of all.”

You can find the album on CD and LP in the Merge store, at your favorite independent record shop (where you might still be able to score a “sand and sky”-colored Peak Vinyl copy), or on your preferred digital listening service.

Wye Oak have recently announced a return trip to the UK for an August run around their Green Man Festival appearance. A full list of announced tour dates is below; don’t miss them when they play at a venue near you—or on the Wye Oak Facebook page tomorrow at 9:30pm ET!
