Last month, Australia’s Cable Ties recorded a live video performance featuring songs off their new album Far Enough, thanks in part to the folks at Leaps and Bounds Music Festival. We’ve seen some footage. It’s a document of a band that’s fully capable of blowing minds, even from thousands of miles away. We invite you to join us around the computer screen this Thursday, July 9, at 1pm PT / 4pm ET / 9pm BST / 6am AEST (Friday) for its premiere on Merge’s YouTube channel.

We’ve been telling y’all this for months now: Cable Ties are an Artist You Need To Know; read their feature in Rolling Stone if you don’t believe us!

“A big, noisy raspberry directed at the pig-headed patriarchy… Cable Ties’ fusion of heavy riffs and a social conscience cuts deeper on Far Enough than their debut.” —Rolling Stone

Get your copy of Far Enough today on CD, LP, and translucent amber and black swirl Peak Vinyl in the Merge store, or from your favorite local independent record shop.
