The Mountain Goats are pleased to announce the official release of The Jordan Lake Sessions: Volumes 3 and 4 as pay-what-you-want beginning on the next Bandcamp Friday, November 5, with more streaming services to follow on November 12. Watch the video for “Jazz No Children” from Volume 4 below:

The Mountain Goats are having a bit of a moment on TikTok: Their song “No Children” has been used in more than 30,000 videos on the platform, leading the band to trend on Twitter.

The band recorded three new albums in March 2020: Songs for Pierre Chuvin (released April 2020), Getting Into Knives (released October 2020), and Dark in Here (released June 2021).

There are just a few 2021 shows left on the books for the quartet: a third sold-out show tonight at Brooklyn Made, Friday night at Charlottesville’s Jefferson Theater, and a homestate gig at Carrboro, NC’s Cat’s Cradle on December 17. Follow the Mountain Goats on TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
