Premiering today on Brooklyn Vegan, “The 710” is the second single from The Essex Green’s Hardly Electronic (out June 29) and the first from the anticipated album to feature lead vocals from band member Sasha Bell, who says the song “describes innocently stumbling into an internecine web of secrecy and betrayal, a web begun generations ago…” The band’s video collaborator Michael Barrett created a visual for the song, cut up from nostalgic stock footage (and some of the band for good measure). Don’t delay, click play today!

This new track follows Hardly Electronic’s album announcement from last month, which came with an album trailer and opening song “Sloane Ranger.”

Pre-order Hardly Electronic on CD as well as red and orange swirl Peak Vinyl in the Merge store. It’s also available for pre-order at your preferred digital music service and these participating independent record shops!
