Teenage Fanclub go "Back to the Light" with their latest single from 'Nothing Lasts Forever'
Teenage Fanclub is excited to share “Back to the Light,” the latest single from their September 22 album Nothing Lasts Forever. Stream and share “Back to the Light” now, and pre-order Nothing Lasts Forever on CD, LP, or limited edition silver and black mix Peak Vinyl from the Merge Store, or on translucent pink vinyl from our friends at Rough Trade U.S.!
“Back To The Light” was written by Norman Blake who says, “I liked the idea of using being in a band as a metaphor for a personal relationship. They are not entirely dissimilar experiences. Like a few others on the album, this song has saxophone on it. First time we’ve had that since Songs From Northern Britain. Stephen Black (Sweet Baboo) played those parts; we really like the richness it brings to the song. Steve will be with us when we head out on tour in October in Europe.”
In addition to those October/November dates, Teenage Fanclub have added a run of dates in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand in February and March of 2024.
