Today—exactly one month ahead of the release of Fall into the Sun, the first full-length in five years from Swearin’—the band is sharing news of their 2019 European tour and the album’s upbeat final number, “Future Hell.” The group’s Kyle Gilbride describes the song as “visions of an unseen place and time, learning lessons of disenchantment from a new and hostile world. Finding a way back, friendship and independence reveal marks on the trail.”

Beginning tonight in Baltimore, Swearin’ have a pair of shows with Merge fam Ought as they make their way down to Raleigh’s Hopscotch Music Fest, then will tour with Empath after the release of Fall into the Sun in October. A full list of Swearin’ dates, including the aforementioned European tour and recently announced December shows, can be found below.

Press play again on previous Swearin’ singles “Untitled (LA)” and “Grow into a Ghost.” Fall into the Sun is available for pre-order now on CD, LP, and coke-bottle clear Peak Vinyl in the Merge store (bundle it with an exclusive Swearin’ t-shirt and 3D glasses that we’ll ship to you now!) or your favorite independent record shop, and digitally through your preferred music streaming service.
