Jim DeRogatis and Greg Kot, hosts of Chicago Public Radio's Sound Opinions came to North Carolina and devoted an hour to talking with Mac and Laura about the past, present and future of Merge Records.
Sound Opinions takes two nationally respected rock critics, the latest music news, personal commentary, and exclusive interviews and performances, adds a huge pile of records old and new, and the result is the world's only rock and roll talk show.
The Merge episode aired live this past weekend, and is now available online as a stream or a download.
Also, last week, NPR's World Cafe aired a live performance with M.
