Today, Sneaks’ Eva Moolchan is spilling the beans on her exhilarating new album Highway Hypnosis, due January 25, 2019, worldwide. Apple’s Beats 1 Radio premiered single “The Way It Goes” just a moment ago, ahead of tonight’s headlining set at The Islington in London. Listen now, and pre-order the album in the Merge store on CD, LP, and translucent neon green Peak Vinyl, or wherever records are sold and streamed.

Like a piece of art with as many interpretations as people who view it, Sneaks’ music is kaleidoscopic, completely unique to the listener. Between responsibility, laughter samples, and charming vocals lies one club banger, your little sister’s anti-meat school lunch protest song, a 55-second epic bass surprise, and a lot of sincerity.

Flashes of Robyn, Britney Spears, Jock Jams, Nirvana, recess hour on the blacktop, M.I.A., Lil Mama, a hacky sack circle, Aaliyah, and your first Warped Tour experience somehow all make sense inside the mind attached to ears experiencing Highway Hypnosis. The best part? Inclusivity is at the heart of Sneaks, and all are welcome to her galaxy… but only the woke will find the wormhole.

The solo act, born with Pluto in Scorpio, released her first album single “Beliefs” in September. The glimmering anthem shrouded in an atmosphere of darkness drops its beat along with a call to arms for all non-believers whose mantra is assigned: “Remove your beliefs and start again / ’cause all I wanna do is start again.”

Sneaks wraps up a European tour (that began with soundtracking the Lemaire Spring-Summer 2019 runway show during Paris Fashion Week and included an appearance at Red Bull Music Academy in Berlin) with a pair of London performances tonight and tomorrow. The Highway Hypnosis album-release show has just been announced in Washington, DC, with more to come this month, so follow Sneaks on Instagram and Facebook to stay afloat!
