Starting today, NPR First Listen is previewing the new Sneaks album Highway Hypnosis in full before its release on Friday! NPR Music’s Ruth Saxelby writes, “Like Neneh Cherry, M.I.A., Micachu and other singular stars before them, Sneaks has both the punk spirit and pop sense to carve out her own path in music. Highway Hypnosis is simply the sound of her revving the engine.”

In case you missed them, watch two Sneaks music videos from November! Highway Hypnosis is available for pre-order on CD, LP, and limited-edition translucent neon green Peak Vinyl in the Merge store and wherever records are sold.

Sneaks celebrates Highway Hypnosis with a release show on February 3 at Songbyrd in Washington, DC, and a trio of dates supporting Cherry Glazerr in Philadelphia, Boston, and NYC. In March, she will make her way to SXSW in Austin, including a stop at Savannah Stopover, then head overseas for a European tour in May. A full list of announced shows can be found below.
