Two revered Bull City icons will partner on Thursday, August 13, for a celebration of music and baseball at the third annual Merge Records Night at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Durham-based independent label Merge Records will curate at-bat music for the Bulls, and Stuart McLamb, frontman of The Love Language, will perform the national anthem prior to the 7:05 p.m. game against the Norfolk Tides.

New for 2015, fans purchasing an $8.99 Terrace View ticket to the game can get a limited-edition sampler CD of the featured at-bat songs. The ticket/CD combo is available here using special offer code MERGE. The CD artwork, a collaborative project between the team’s and label’s design departments, features the DBAP’s famous Snorting Bull.
