Merry Christmas! We at Merge Records hope that you and yours are having a happy holiday. In that spirit, we're excited to share “Dragging a Tree,” a new Christmas jam from Mac McCaughan.

“Dragging a Tree” made its surprise debut on Christmas Eve during Jon Solomon's annual 25-hour holiday radio show on WPRB 103.3FM in Princeton, NJ. Mac calls it “a holiday song about wanting to escape the pressures and pitfalls of the season by hitting the road,” so let off some steam by cranking up “Dragging a Tree,” and we'll see y'all next year!
