While it’s the first release from Swearin’ in five years, Fall into the Sun is a record that doesn’t try to obscure the passage of time but instead embraces it. Ahead of its October 5 release (hey, that’s Friday!), stream the record in full and hear for yourself what NPR First Listen describes as “the best songs of their career.”

In case you missed it, director Jake Fogelnest unveiled a trailer last week for a project he’s been working on: 3D Swearin’ music videos for “Grow into a Ghost” and “Future Hell”! Those will be released very soon, so be sure to consult this map to acquire your very own Swearin’ anaglyphic 3D glasses from the independent record store nearest you before they run out!

Fall into the Sun is an album that the New York Times says “has all the familiar pleasures: tense punk guitars, urgent rhythm and [Allison] Crutchfield’s sure-footed sneers.” Pre-order digitally or on CD, LP, or limited-edition coke-bottle clear Peak Vinyl in the Merge store where you can bundle it with an exclusive t-shirt.

Swearin’ will embark on a tour with Empath next week, with Sheer Mag joining them for their DC show at the Black Cat just prior. And in 2019, they head to Europe for their first tour on that side of the Atlantic in five years! A full list of all dates can be found below.
