Today, Kurt Wagner shares “A Major Minor Drag,” the final visual from Lambchop’s The Bible which has enjoyed end-of-year accolades from Uncut and Mojo in addition to critical praise from Pitchfork, No Depression, BrooklynVegan, American Songwriter, and more.

Directed by Isaac Gale, “A Major Minor Drag” is of a piece with prior visuals from The Bible, utilizing computer graphics engines to create imagery that is as dreamy as it is nightmarish.

It’s been a busy year for Kurt Wagner, who has pushed the boundaries of the Lambchop sound both in studio and live. In September, Wagner brought a 16-piece ensemble to Minneapolis’ Walker Art Center. He then switched gears radically, playing the Psychic Hotline Block Party in Carrboro, NC, as a duo with The Bible co-producer Andrew Broder—a configuration that makes its way to Philadelphia and New York City this week.

Listen to The Bible in full now, and get your copy of the album on CD or etched 2-LP (available on both limited-edition yellow & black marble Peak Vinyl or standard black) in the Merge store and participating independent record stores. In addition, Electric Fetus in Minneapolis carries an exclusive signed vinyl pressing on “smog” (gray & white marble vinyl).
