We’re positively giddy, as Jump for Joy, Hiss Golden Messenger’s new record, is out today! Listen to and share Jump for Joy, including standout track “The Wondering,” wherever you stream music, and pick up a copy on CD, LP, or translucent orange and black swirl Peak Vinyl in the Merge store! Peak Vinyl copies include a 22.75” x 30” color newsprint poster!

M.C. Taylor is celebrating Jump for Joy this weekend with a pair of free solo acoustic performances in two of North Carolina’s finest record stores. He’ll be at Lunchbox Records in Charlotte on Saturday, August 26, at 5pm, and at Asheville’s Citizen Vinyl on Sunday, August 27, at 1pm.

Beyond that, the Hiss Golden Messenger touring juggernaut kicks into gear again this fall, beginning with a three-night stand in Saxapahaw, NC’s Haw River Ballroom—featuring support from Merge artists H.C. McEntire (Friday, September 15) and William Tyler & The Impossible Truth (Saturday, September 16)—followed by Australian dates and an extensive tour of the United States and Canada!
