This week, Ibibio Sound Machine kick off their next run of live dates in support of their critically acclaimed album Electricity, including a pair of shows opening for Coldplay! To further inspire front-row dance parties, the band has shared AK/DK’s remix of “Protection From Evil.”

AK/DK write:

We were stoked when Ibibio Sound Machine asked us to remix “Protection From Evil.” They created an amazing version of one of our tracks, “Heliotrap,” so we were excited to return the favour. We increased the tempo and added our own flavour of punky-dance drums and synths to create a version ready for some dance floor chaos…

Listen to and share “Protection From Evil (AK/DK Remix)” and get tickets to see the Ibibio Sound Machine live show nearest you!

Electricity is available now wherever you listen to music, as well as on CD and LP in the Merge store and at the band’s merch table. Look for limited-edition yellow & black splatter Peak Vinyl at participating independent record shops!
