Ever since the release of her solo debut album LIONHEART, H.C. McEntire has been performing across North America and Europe, opening for folks like Angel Olsen, Pedro the Lion, Amy Ray, and Natalie Prass, and making appearances at festivals including Americanafest and Hopsctoch’s big stage.

On the cusp of a headlining tour that will take McEntire and her band to Chicago’s TNK Fest, San Francisco’s Noise Pop, and stages from Boston to Los Angeles, she has shared a cover of “Houses of the Holy,” Led Zeppelin’s song about the sacredness of these performance spaces, and made it entirely her own. McEntire has also written a lyric essay for Southern literary magazine Oxford American, and we recommend clicking play prior to reading!

LIONHEART is available wherever you listen to music, and if you haven’t picked up your copy on CD, LP, or white Peak Vinyl, you can do so in the Merge store, your favorite independent record shop, or at one of McEntire’s live shows!
