Canvassing: I hate it but it turns out there are a lot of things about it to love. It was an amazing way for me to feel like I was doing something effective to help with the midterm elections, and also to get in touch with and talk to people in my community and state that I otherwise rarely speak with. I had so many great conversations and met so many great people.

BlacKKKlansman: I don't see a lot of movies but I made it for this one. I highly recommend it. It's funny, but also makes an incredibly heavy statement.

Dogs: they take your mind off stuff.

Tequila: same.

Cardi B: also.

Life: Not everyone gets to be alive. We are lucky to live somewhere where there is not war or famine at the moment.

Making: food, clothes, art, whatever. It's what I am meant to do.
