Breaking the silence that has echoed since his explosive February 6 appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman, Bob Mould now confirms Works In Progress: a seven date series of solo electric performances in intimate venues.
Works In Progress will kick off September 23 at The Sinclair in Boston, making stops in New York, Atlanta, Nashville and Chicago before winding down October 11 at SPACE in Evanston, IL. Bob’s longtime bass player Jason Narducy will open all dates.

The Works In Progress run marks Bob’s first extended live outing since the world-spanning campaign supporting his acclaimed Beauty & Ruin. Released in June 2014 on Merge, Beauty & Ruin debuted in the top 40 of the U.S. album chart and generated some of the most enthusiastic praise of Bob’s career, with NPR Morning Edition declaring “few are better at making smart, hooky rock,” while Stereogum hailed the album as "vital music from a living legend.”
